Certificates / declarations of conformity / marking precast concrete parts

Wherever European regulations are applied, precast concrete parts are, as building products, to be marked with a declaration of conformity and CE mark. If European regulations do not apply, but national German regulations do, the building products must be labelled with the Ü mark.

The labels, declarations and certificates prove that the respective regulations and standard requirements, which concern the prefabricated part or its production, have been observed.

The Ü mark is provided on the basis of conformity certificates and product certificates, the CE mark and the issue of the declaration of conformity by the manufacturer based on a certification of the company’s own in-house production control and products.

In our case, these external certifications are provided by Güteschutz NRW. The certificates continue to apply as long as no quality deviations are observed by Güteschutz during the semi-annual monitoring of production and the in-house production control, which could otherwise lead to a cancellation of the certificates.

Product and conformity certificates by Güteschutz Beton NRW for building products/precast concrete parts

These certificates are partially or entirely, as far as respective European regulations exist, replaced by the existence of declarations of conformity and certificates in accordance with European specifications. The certificates and the Ü markings for the respective building products/precast concrete parts were or are otherwise applied:

Product and conformity certificate since 02.04.04 – The modula® system platform building product complies with regulations of the technical rules mentioned in part 1 of building regulation list, in accordance with DIN 1045-1 and with the technical rule on the type approval of the Federal Railway Authority, as mentioned in the BGB (German Civil Code) product group classification.
Certificate of conformity according to DIN 1045-1 for the building product - bearing precast ferro-concrete parts with the sub-group: step building elements, balustrade elements, lintels, angle brackets etc.
Certificate of conformity according to DIN 1045-1 for the building product - bearing precast ferro-concrete parts with the sub-group: large sized prefabricated parts for structural engineering, civil engineering and bridge construction.
Certificate of conformity in accordance with the general building supervision approval for the building product "Glass-concrete-system BETOGLASS®"
Certificate of conformity in accordance with the general building supervision approval for façade panels (betoShell®) made of artificial stone with reverse-side concrete-cast fixing elements

City WC systems

DIN CERTCO barrier free Conformity was confirmed to Hering by DIN CERTCO, Gesellschaft für Konformitätsbewertung mbH (organisation for conformity assessment), for the 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 series of toilet facilities with certificates valid until 31.07.10, with the certification programme in accordance with DIN 18024-2:1996-11 on barrier-free planning, buildings and products, as well as the right to use the “no barriers DIN-tested” mark.
The automatic toilet facility product – SBR-004 / -005 fitted module model is annually tested by the TÜV PRODUKT SERVICE on a voluntary basis in order to ensure that the basic requirements are observed and fulfilled and that it can be marked with the “production monitored – building class tested” test mark. The certificate continues to apply as long as the annual test is passed.

Cylinder cabinets and mobile boxes

TÜV certificate Hering was authorised by the TÜV PRODUKT SERVICE GmbH to label mobile boxes and cylinder cabinets with the “TÜV Mark P” sign. It also fulfils the requirements of the Equipment Safety Law and can be labelled with the “A or B Gas Mark”. Valid until 21.06.2011.
