Platform roof type 'Bodenheim'

Modular system design

The platform roof Type 'Bodenheim' from Hering is designed in a modular system and can be used on all platforms in railway stations of various categories.

Platform roof type Bodenheim

This platform roof is available as an intermediate platform or side platform in many different geometries. The island variant of the platform roof is designed in such a way that it can be used for all common platform widths from approx. 5 m to 13 m.

The roof covering is divided into two parts. The outer area to the platform is covered with a sandwich trapezoidal section and the middle area can be covered either with sandwich sections or with glass elements made of laminated glass.

The integrated lighting takes into account both safety-related and architectural aspects. The loudspeakers of the public address system are also integrated in the roof system.

The 'Bodenheim' roof system is designed to integrate with our modula® platform system. All mounting points are precast into the structure, no additional reinforcement is required, facilitating fast and economic construction.
