Track and points renewal in Eschweiler and the central railway station of Aachen

On behalf of DB Netz AG, Regional Sector West, Duisburg, renewal work was realised in the Eschweiler railway station between the 24th of May and 7th of June 2009. 3 points (W1, 2 and 12) and 180 m of track were reconstructed. Measures in central station Aachen: Points W 75 and W 76 were renewed between the 19th and 23rd of June. The work was realised in the context of the WE Eschweiler consortium.
