European Union seal of approval for sustainable environmental management. In 1996, Hering was the first construction company in Europe to be EMAS-certified. Since then, an authorised, independent auditor has carried out regular assessments. Every two years, an environmental statement is published that documents improvements in environmental performance as well as environmental objectives (valid until 14.10.2019).
AMS BAU is an industry-specific, voluntary occupational safety management system for member companies of the trade association Bau. The concept picks up on the operational concerns of the construction industry, and takes into account the difficult boundary conditions, such as constantly changing workstations, weather conditions, etc. Hering fulfils the requirements of systematic and effective occupational safety (valid until 20.07.2020).
Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 is the most widely-used and significant standard in the field of quality management on both a national and international level. Certification forms the basis for the continuous improvement process. The certificate is proof of implemented quality management of the Hering company group, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, and is subject to regular monitoring by GüteZert GmbH (valid until 11.04.2021).
Due to the demographic change, accessibility in public areas is becoming an increasingly important issue. All WC facilities installed by Hering bear DIN Certco certification, and are accessible in accordance with Standard DIN 18040. For many years, these provisions have been the basis for planning, as well as for constructional and structural implementation (valid until 31.01.2021).
Güteschutz Beton NRW monitors and certifies prefabricated concrete elements. The certificates confirm that the results of the external monitoring conform to the general building approval. The certificates of compliance apply to modula® railway platform systems, and the thin-walled betoShell® concrete façades.
