The HERING Group was delighted to win another innovation prize in June 2024: Following the award for the SOLAR.con solar façade in spring, the track-foundation-laying train by HERING Grundbau GmbH was recognised with the 2024 Quality and Innovation Prize by the Überwachungsgemeinschaft Gleisbau e.V. (ÜGG e.V. - Registered Quality Monitoring Association) in June.
The association’s jury thought that the track-foundation-laying train was extremely interesting, commercially attractive and innovative. The ÜGG e.V. has for many years been recognising projects where the outstanding quality and significance make them stand out from comparable track-construction performances and processes and that consequently enable work processes to be improved on a lasting basis.
Sebastian Baum was happy to accept the certificate and the prize money of € 5,000.00 at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne on 14 June 2024. He again highlighted the track-foundation-laying train along with its innovative features in his brief acceptance speech.
