On behalf of HERING Bahnbau, HERING Infrastructure Systems handled the design, production, and delivery of the special elevation stones, while the civil engineering team managed the on-site installation and implementation. Using these elements, two platform slabs and one ramp per platform were raised from 76 cm to 96 cm.
This measure represents a pilot project to make the station fully accessible – an important step towards improved comfort and accessibility for all passengers.
The project once again highlights how excellent teamwork and coordinated processes between different HERING business units can deliver fast, efficient, and sustainable results.
