The go-ahead was given for the first project in the middle of May when the team at HERING Grundbau GmbH commenced work on the first construction site. The company was commissioned with the installation of the foundations for 16 signal gantries by Leonhard Weiss in Bad Cannstatt. A total of 18 bored piles in lengths ranging from six to 22 metres are being driven into the ground to this end with the help of the latest drilling technology that the track-bound carrier provides. The first nine piles with a diameter of 88 centimetres and a length of 15 metres have already been installed in accordance with the schedule.

The track-foundation-laying train uses special set-up procedures and tool logistics while delivering high foundation performances, quality and speed to adapt special civil-engineering procedures for the railway sector and guarantees the sustainable, safe and cost-effective implementation of projects.
