In May, we began work on the Meerbusch-Osterath transport station, and we are now nearing completion right on schedule. Over the past six months, we have implemented two new access routes to the platform and extended the platform at track 2. Additionally, in collaboration with colleagues from the Systems division, we completed the construction of the main platform. This 190-meter-long platform combines prefabricated elements with conventional construction techniques, including BSK (ballastless track construction).
Despite challenging conditions, such as closed railway crossings, limited space, and a shortened closure period, we adhered to the timeline while maintaining high-quality standards.
