The redesign of the central bus station in Velbert had been in planning for quite some time and, from the beginning on, the decision had been made that a public toilet facility was needed. Hering used the town Hemer as a reference, as they already have a similar custom-made toilet facility at the central bus station. This proposal was well received by the city of Velbert and incorporated into the overall planning.
The toilet facility, a CWC R360B-S, with a red glass facade blends in very nicely into the overall picture and, from autumn on, around 40 buses will use the new central bus station on an hourly basis.
