Three years ago, the Hering team was already working on the Halle-Rosengarten stop: back then, platform 2 was being newly constructed. In 2016, the new construction of platform 1 began. By order of DB Station & Service AG, Regional Area South-east and DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH as the general contractor, platform 2 has now been extended.
During two night shifts at the end of July/beginning of August, the existing Hering outer platform modula®, Type 1 was expanded by 62 m. The elements were delivered by truck and the assembly was carried out with a mobile crane.
