The assembly of the first roof was commenced in the late summer months, no. 2 is scheduled for December 2020. About a year later, in spring 2022, roofs no. 3 and 4 are to be installed. The roofs are being installed on behalf of Strabag Rail GmbH and the building owner DB Station&Service AG Augsburg. Two of the roofs are 90m long each, the other two are each 160m in length. All four of them are approx. 8 m wide. The parts made in Holzhausen were delivered by lorry to Bavaria and then continued their journey via freight waggon. In addition, HERING is manufacturing and supplying 984 prefabricated parts for platform paving stones to order of Strabag Rail GmbH 984 by the end of January 2021. They are being installed by Strabag in Donauwörth. First, two centre platforms of 416m and 221m in length are being developed. Further platforms are planned.
