In November 2018, HERING published its first declaration of conformity in accordance with the German Sustainability Code (DNK). Now the time has come again: Thanks to the current publication, our sustainability performance including 2019 is transparent and comparable, which is confirmed by the DNK signet. We at HERING are convinced that commitment and investment in the protection of our living environment are absolutely necessary to secure the future of the company in the long term. By voluntarily drawing up the DNK declaration, we demonstrate our economic, ecological and social responsibility.

What is DNK?
The DNK supports the development of a sustainability strategy and provides an entry point to sustainability reporting. Regular reporting makes the development of the company visible over time. In order to comply with the DNK, users enter into the database a statement covering twenty DNK criteria and the supplementary non-financial performance indicators.
The database is the heart of the DNK. Here you will find all the statements published so far by the almost 600 DNK users. In this way, the sustainability efforts of the organisations are made visible and comparable.
