By order of DB Netz AG Köln, the Hering team installed a noise barrier of a total length of 785 m in the track area of the Neuhof district. The noise barriers were constructed from the end of 2015 along the Frankfurt am Main – Göttingen railway line. The construction comprises steel posts, aluminium noise barriers and aluminium facing formwork.
