Career Fairs & School Partnerships 2025

In the first half of 2025, HERING was actively present throughout the region to present career opportunities in the construction industry to students and school leavers. Under the motto “Personal. Approachable. Future-Oriented.”, we attended a range of career fairs and school events – with great success: many curious and motivated young people got an authentic look into our apprenticeships and engaged in direct conversations with our trainers and apprentices.

Apprenticeship Marketing with Heart and Expertise

Participating in events like these is a key part of our strategy to foster young talent. Alongside our dedicated apprentices and trainers, we showcased what HERING stands for as an employer – practical, honest, and on equal footing.

A hands-on challenge: students demonstrated their skills by assembling and pressing a phone holder – and had lots of fun doing it!

Apprenticeship Fair SüdSiegerland – Feb 19, 2025, Burbach
HERING is a co-founder and co-organizer of the region’s most important apprenticeship fair. Once again, the kickoff to our fair season was a great success.

Career Fair at Johann-Textor-Schule – Mar 21, 2025, Haiger
A highlight at our booth: the "Siphon Showdown," where students competed to assemble a siphon as quickly and precisely as possible.

Open House at ABU – Mar 27, 2025, Burbach
Students from grades 8–10 got exclusive insights into career paths such as drafter, electrician, plant mechanic, and warehouse logistics specialist.

Realschule Plus Hoher Westerwald – May 6 & 7, 2025, Rennerod
From a parent information evening to hands-on workshops: students rolled up their sleeves for activities like concreting, assembling phone holders, and completing a warehouse picking task.
