HERING receives CSC certification for sustainable precast concrete production

For years and decades, we have been working on producing our precast concrete elements in a resource-efficient manner. It all started with the introduction of the EMAS environmental management system in the 1990s. This was followed by the development of the particularly slim, glass fiber-reinforced betoShell® façade panel, which is particularly suitable for renovations due to its low weight. Since 2019, we have been using recycled aggregates, and since 2024, CO2-reduced cements. We carefully select our suppliers, require them to adhere to our sustainability standards, and ensure the origin of the raw materials we use. For several years, we have held an ECOVADIS Gold certification. We publicly report on these activities every year in our EMAS key figures and every three years in our sustainability report.
