As of April 25, 2025, HERING Grundbau has been officially prequalified by Deutsche Bahn AG for specialist foundation engineering in the categories pile foundations and construction under live railway operations.
This prequalification ensures that only those suppliers who have demonstrated their fundamental technical and organizational capabilities are eligible to participate in DB’s procurement procedures.

Thanks to the prequalification, non-prequalified construction companies can now participate in Deutsche Bahn tenders for specialist foundation works by partnering with us as a subcontractor – including the use of our track-based foundation construction train.
