Hering Sanikonzept opens 12th WC facility in Cologne

Hering Sanikonzept was awarded the contract for the planning, construction and installation of 12 City-WCs in Cologne in 2016. The new two-room City-WC system with modern glass façade was opened in Cologne on Urbanstraße this month. This was the last of the 12 systems to be installed.

The facility possesses a separate urinal area with the efficient Urifloor cleaning system, which was installed to ensure adherence to high hygiene standards. The facility’s second room is a unisex area. It is barrier-free in accordance with DIN 18040 and is also equipped with a nappy-changing table, automatic seat cleaning and robust stainless-steel objects that contribute to the facility’s durability. Users are able to use the sanitation facilities through coin-operated access.
