HERING supplies 800 architectural precast concrete elements for a new educational campus in Munich

On the site of the former Bayernkaserne, the City of Munich – represented by the Department of Education and Sport and the Building Department – has completed a major new construction project. Two modern school facilities were created: a primary school and a secondary school, each equipped with premium sports and swimming halls as well as extensive outdoor sports areas.

As part of the project, LEONHARD WEISS GmbH & Co. KG commissioned our team at HERING Architectural Concrete to design, manufacture and supply around 800 architectural precast concrete elements. These include reinforced concrete columns of up to ten metres in length, produced in our factory and installed on site with precision.

The acid-washed surface finish provides a bright, contemporary appearance and highlights the architectural quality of the entire complex. Over the course of one and a half years – from detailed production planning to on-time delivery – our teams contributed significantly to the project’s successful completion.

Today, the new school campus plays an important role in the urban development of northern Munich and stands out through its blend of functionality, modern design and high-quality construction.

Under “Reference Projects” you will find a detailed project overview.
