HERING’s team is working over three phases in total to expand the feeder lines to Frankfurt’s main station that are being installed to eliminate bottlenecks along this route and accommodate increasing traffic. Additional tracks for long-distance traffic are, for example, being realised between the stadium’s station in Frankfurt am Main and the railway overpass. That’s where the four-kilometre-long section is being upgraded to six tracks. Seven railway overpasses over the River Main and junction structures are also being upgraded and rebuilt with new retaining and noise barriers being built. A major project for HERING’s railway construction team: Keep up the good work!
