Milestone for sustainability – e-charging park opened in Chemnitz

The rapid-charging park operated by Energie Baden-Württemberg (EnBW = Energy Baden-Württemberg) in Chemnitz was officially opened on 29 April. Permanent Secretary Daniela Kluckert, Minister of State Thomas Schmidt and Formula 1 World Champion and sustainability entrepreneur Nico Rosberg were also in attendance at the opening ceremony. A tour of the location was followed by panel discussions during which electro-mobility and its significance for the country’s sustainability goals were explored. A unique new production of the successful ‘PLACES – A Musical Journey’ music and show project rounded off the event.

The WC facility, which we built and installed last year, is also a part of the new charging park. The vertical larch wood façade installed on our two-room facility with automated cleaning systems that also includes seat cleaning and high-pressure floor cleaning is visually impressive. The facility’s two cubicles, one barrier-free and one unisex, were available to visitors on the day of the opening.

There was much praise for our team and for the successful collaboration at the opening. We’ve already received more orders from EnBW and we’re pleased to be able to contribute to setting further milestones in the fields of sustainability and e-mobility with our toilet facilities.
