Densborn shines with innovative platforms and powerful crane
With a perfect combination of teamwork and cutting-edge technology, HERING Bahnbau, along with the team of HERING Systeme and the powerful Idefix crane, installed two modula platforms in Densborn. Originally planned for two construction phases, an unserviceable track at the main platform posed a challenge.
However, with the deployment of the KRC 1200, which can lift an impressive 150 tons, the 12-ton platform elements were effortlessly hoisted over the existing platform roof. Within just four days, faster than planned, Densborn station now shines with 170 meters of new platforms in full glory.
