Hering employees were deployed there in August to carry out work on behalf of DB Station&Service AG, Regional Area South, Munich, as the principal and Rädlinger Ingenieurbau GmbH as the general contractor.
The 156-metre-long modula® elements for the side-boarding platform were delivered by truck. The foundations were laid on 2 and 3 August while the platform was installed on 7 and 8 August using a rail crane and a road-rail excavator.
A drainage channel was created for the platform slabs, which were also moved back to provide space for a shelter to protect passengers from the weather.
