Munich Update: First toilet facility opened at Kurfürstenplatz

The first of 42 facilities has been completed: the toilet complex on Kurfürstenplatz in Munich has reopened after an extensive refurbishment and conversion construction phase.

The toilet facility was completely gutted and rebuilt by Hering Sanikonzept GmbH. The ladies section includes a hand wash basin, a toilet cubicle and a baby changing table. The men's section consists of a urinal, a hand wash basin and a toilet cubicle. The new barrier-free WC meets all the requirements of the "Leben Pur" (pure life) foundation. The size of the cabin was significantly expanded and equipped with a ceiling lift as well as a fold-down shower and care bed. The height of the fold-down shower and care bed can be adjusted electrically.

Next to be refurbished by Hering Sanikonzept GmbH are the facilities at the Waldfriedhof and Scheidplatz.
