The new platform is 53 metres long with a nominal height of 55 cm, seamlessly connected to the existing structure – enabling an efficient extension of the platform.
At the same time, the Evolution 2020 platform roof was planned, manufactured, delivered, and installed by HERING. The roof features a slight curve, with end widths of 7.34 m and 7.58 m, and approx. 8.10 m in the centre. Its total length is 133 metres. Installation takes place in two phases: the first section of 101 metres has already been successfully completed, while the second section of 32 metres will follow in summer 2026.
With this project, HERING once again underlines its role as a reliable partner for innovative and sustainable solutions in the rail sector.
