After six months of negotiations with KA Immo Management GmbH from Karlsruhe, Hering could sign the lease agreement for the toilet facility at the City Center Schwäbisch Gmünd at the beginning of January.
The City Center offers an almost complete choice of products distributed over more than 20,000m² and four storeys with over 40 specialised shops.
The men’s toilet has two booths, two waterless urinals, and a double washstand, the ladies’ room has two booths, one diaper changing table and a double washstand, too. Access is granted by a turnstile with pay machine and voucher return.
The constructions works at the City Center started mid-February 2016. Since it was a complete new construction of the shop & fresh facility, Hering first had to remove the old toilet facility with deafening noise from the pneumatic hammer before the new construction could begin.
As it is usually the case with old buildings, it was inevitable at the City Center, too, that one or two surprises of the building had to be mastered.
On 12 May, the new, modern shop & fresh toilet celebrated its opening with a champagne reception.
