The design by Lieb + Lieb Architects from Bad Freudenstadt prevailed in the competition with a façade construction made of precast reinforced concrete elements and large glass surfaces. A total of 60 sand-coloured architectural concrete elements from HERING Architectural Concrete with a slightly acidified surface that guarantees a homogeneous appearance were used.
In order to manufacture the façade elements as economically as possible, the transoms and several of the inclined supports were combined to form comb elements.
The results are impressive!
