Noise barriers on the Niesky – Lohsa road section

The Niesky – Lohsa road section is part of the German Railway line between Knappenrode and Horka.

By order of the Berlin branch of DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH and DB Netz AG in Leipzig, the clients, Hering employees erected noise barriers over a distance of about 10.5 km along the stretch and over part of the bridges. The work was taken on in fall 2016 and completion is expected for August 2017. To date, 7 out of a total of 31 noise barriers have been fully installed.
