Plastic architectural concrete façade for new office building in Stuttgart

Last year, a cubic, new six-storey building for Magirus GmbH was erected in the Fasanenhof-Ost industrial estate in the south of Stuttgart. The building shell is provided with a clearly structured structure by the formation of frame elements, which is only interrupted in the recessed entrance area and the roof terrace.

3,000 m² façade elements from HERING Architectural Concrete

Based on the designs of the Stuttgart-based architecture firm blocher partners, a total of almost 3,000 m² of façade elements were produced and installed by HERING Architectural Concrete. One special feature is the sloping window reveals, which stand out optically from the formwork-smooth faces thanks to their blasted surface. A warm cream tone was chosen for the colour so that the new building blends in harmoniously with its surroundings despite its solidity.
