Renovation of the Große Bleichen building in Hamburg

In the immediate vicinity of the Binnenalster and Jungfernstieg, installation of the betoShell® façade on the Grosse Bleichen 3 building began in summer 2018. The special geometry of the existing building resulted in a façade consisting of many sloping sections and shaped soffits, which blend harmoniously into the exclusive surroundings.  In total, the project consisted of a façade area of 330 m² with 98 precast concrete elements, the surface of which was blasted with Nordic White. The recesses of the finished parts have been washed and now stand out even more from the rest of the surface.
