SOLAR.con wins NRW Innovation Award

Mülheim an der Ruhr. Innovative, creative and sustainable products and business models are created in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) every day. The outcomes that are possible when several partners collaborate on new ideas were impressively demonstrated at the ZENIT e.V. network's innovation award ceremony that was held in the presence of patron and NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur on 13 May 2024. The awards for the three finalists were embedded in the 40th ZENIT anniversary, the focus of which was ‘Transformation through innovation’.

Our HAC division with its innovative SOLAR.con product was one of the three finalists and ultimately won the prize!

The award emphasises our team’s innovative strength and motivates us to continue developing our concrete façade for the future. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this success, especially to Dr Magdalena Kimm for her outstanding leadership during the application process. We’re looking forward to more exciting projects and continuing our collaboration within the ZENIT e.V. network.

The three finalists represent outstanding examples of the innovative strength that characterises our economy and demonstrate the importance of cooperation in the development of sustainable products, services and business models. They’re bringing new and innovative solar façades to cities, helping reduce CO2 emissions in parcel shipping with the help of mobile lockers and making an important contribution to the analysis of flood risks for municipalities with artificial intelligence,” said NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur at the award ceremony.
