The first WC facility for the Hamburg sanitation department has been installed on the Außenmühlendamm. It is a CWC R210B-SBR-S with many extras such as interior and exterior glass, urinal trough/Urifloor, seat cleaning, LED lighting under the fascia, e-bike charging station with bicycle stand, tyre inflator and a drinking water dispenser.
The first unit for the Außenmühlendamm was delivered and installed during the night from December 6 to December 7. After a very tight construction phase, everything was finally ready at 11:00 am on December 15. Hering was able to hand over the WC facility, functional and cleaned, for the opening ceremony at 12:00 noon.
Numerous invited guests attended along with representatives of the press (including the Hamburger Morgenpost, Hamburger Abendblatt) and television (RTL, SAT1, HH1). The first new public toilet of the Hamburg sanitation department was opened by SRH CEO Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Siechau.
