Steel meets concrete – new construction for the Sparkasse (savings bank) in Gründau

The Kreissparkasse Gründau was to grow, meaning that a new service centre was needed. The plan turned into reality and a building complex with offices and business premises on approx. 1.500 m² on two storeys was planned and built.

The foundation of the building was made of Corten steel and the upper storey was given a beautiful textile-reinforced concrete façade. To match the ground floor, a slate grey textile-reinforced concrete betoShell®FLEX30 in a washed surface was chosen. The approx. 370 m² of the upper storey was thus installed with approx. 248 dark-coloured textile-reinforced concrete slabs.

A real visual eyecatcher and an enhancement for the township and, of course, for the Kreissparkasse.
