Transparent noise-abatement façade for Jena Erlenhöfe

The increasing demand for affordable housing in various sections of the population in Jena requires the development of new building areas and the construction of additional flats to improve the situation on the housing market. Our transparent noise-abatement façade was installed in the north-east of the city as part of the ‘Jena Erlenhöfen’ project.

GOLDBECKT Ost GmbH used our Urban Protection Shield® transparent noise-abatement façade in this project to protect future residents from noise pollution coming from the directly adjacent main road. The façade was successfully installed over the course of a week. A total of eight glass elements, five supports, eight cross members and an 11-metre-long beam were installed.

The end result is something to be seen!
