Transparent noise-abatement façade successfully introduced at ARCHITECT@WORK

The exclusive ARCHITECT@WORK series of events were staged once again in Munich at the end of April 2022 following the trade fair’s two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The topic of ‘healthy materials’ constituted a particular focus. It’s a subject that hasn’t become increasingly important just in recent times – it also caters to the current desire to be more aware about how materials are used and for fundamentally good and healthy lifestyles.

Our focus on Urban Protection Shield® – the transparent noise-abatement façade, including prints on the glass to protect birds, was very well received by our visitors to the fair. Our team at the event was able to use the exhibits on show to help visitors gain an impression of the creative and long-lasting options for the application of noise abatement in urban spaces.

“It wasn’t only the number of visitors at the start of the trade fair that was very positive, we were also very excited about being free again to meet people in person and the enthusiasm we encountered. The stimulating presentations and discussions regarding alternative and sustainable building materials made the event a great experience!” said Axel Schulz, Sales / Product Manager SONO STOP® and Urban Protection Shield®

Trade fair details:
The new edition and kick-off event of the popular trade-fair format were a great success and helped further increase visitor numbers. With more than 2,000 visitors, ARCHITECT@WORK Munich 2022 recorded a huge 8.5% rise in numbers compared with 2019. That’s a good sign because trade fairs often struggle with declines in times such as these.
