In total, the donation proceeds came to over 1,500 euros. And the money was urgently needed. The donation was used to hold hygiene education sessions in various municipalities in South Sudan, for example. It also enabled schools with up to 1,000 children to hold hygiene training, in which children learnt about basic hygiene practices. In addition, hygiene kits (consisting of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.) were distributed to schools in various municipalities.
