World Toilet Day: Hering Sanikonzept donates € 1,512.90 to Malteser International

A trip to the toilet cannot be taken for granted in many countries around the world. Almost two and a half billion people do not have access to clean sanitation facilities. World Toilet Day – which is marked every year on 19 November – draws attention to this situation.

Hering Sanikonzept took the opportunity this year that this special day presented to set up an information stand and raise the awareness of people visiting the public rail & fresh WC facility at the main railway station in Frankfurt to the lack of sanitation facilities across the world. All for a good cause – because the company decided to donate half of the proceeds generated on 19 November 2019 to Malteser International in Southern Sudan. A total of around € 1,500 was collected on the day.
