Textile-reinforced concrete betoShell®

Textile-reinforced concrete was developed due to our desire to offer our architectural concrete facings cost-effectively to our more distant customers and to target ecological and economic benefits by saving resources. Nowadays, Hering offers different varieties of products from betoShell®, which offer similar mechanical characteristics and the creative diversity of concrete. Thus, these products meet both quality requirements and the desire for thin and light components.

The absence of corrosion and the targeted installation situation mean that the use of textile concrete is much more economic than the use of reinforced concrete, particularly in view of the resource and weight savings that it makes possible. The concrete cover of usually 30 to 50 millimetres is no longer necessary, which means that element thicknesses of only 20 to 40 millimetres are possible on element dimensions of up to 2400 x 1200 millimetres.
