On the new connecting axis between Hafen City and city centre which is important for urban development , this house by Stormer architects is the first gem at Sandtorkai where eight architectural gems will line up. The new construction with its facade made of prefabricated components and completely dyed red is a stony, “flat back” for the Speicherstadt and is glassy towards the water. The glass facade gives an impression of being lightly shifted by the wind compared to the horizontal storey ceilings.
