The municipal administration in Dallgow-Döberitz, which was previously spread over three sites, has, since 2018, been able to operate from a single location in the newly built town hall.
The design by LANKES KOENGETER Architekten | Lieb-Lieb Architekten from Berlin and Bad Freudenstadt was chosen over its competitors’ submissions; a façade structure realised with precast reinforced concrete elements and large glass surfaces. A total of 60 sand-coloured architectural concrete elements by HAC with finishes that were slightly acidified to ensure a homogeneous appearance were used. The beams and several of the sloping posts were combined to create comb elements, which made manufacturing the façade elements as cost-effective as possible.
