The facade, with its cascade-like structure, consists of frames in white, smooth concrete. The¬se frames enclose both the windows and the casually-arranged coloured BETOGLASS® elements in the 5 Mondriaan primary colours of red, blue, yellow, light grey and dark grey. It is a hybrid construction of individual sandwich elements and structural elements with separate architectural precast cladding. The massive, 75 cm-thick and 3.60 x 3.60 m-wide components weigh up to 14 tonnes. The coloured BETOGLASS® elements are encased in concrete in the factory during production.
