"Residential Home Mühlenacker" in Bremen

Reference Project: Transparent noise protection facade Urban Protection Shield® for residential home in Bremen

The "Mühlenacker Residential Home" project in Bremen, formerly known as the transitional housing "Am Rastplatz," is currently being converted by Immobilien Bremen – a municipal enterprise of the city of Bremen. The goal of this conversion is the permanent use of the building as a residential home. In the course of the transition to permanent status, extensive construction measures are required, particularly to meet building code requirements, which include soundproofing and a mobility concept.

This is where our transparent noise protection facade, Urban Protection Shield®, came into play. Our HERING Systems team installed two noise protection facades here, consisting of a total of 38 glass elements from the company Kohlhauer, covering a total area of 136 m².
