Reference project system roofs: Three Zwiesel type platform roofs in Leverkusen Mitte

In 2021, our team at HERING Systeme was commissioned by IHT Ingenieur-, Hoch- und Tiefbau for the "Leverkusen Mitte" project. As part of the renovation of the Leverkusen Mitte station, we designed three platform roofs of the Zwiesel type and three canopies for pedestrian underpasses. The planning phase began in 2020 and extended over a longer period.

The highest roof, which spans tracks 1-2, reaches a height of 7.59 meters. The longest roof, which runs over tracks 3-4, measures an impressive 112 meters. In total, the covered areas extend over a length of 292 meters.
