Reference Project – System Roofs: Three Platform Roofs of the Evolution Type for the Riedbahn

The Riedbahn, one of the busiest railway lines in Germany, was extensively modernized as a pilot project for Deutsche Bahn’s high-performance network. HERING contributed to this infrastructure upgrade.

As part of the general refurbishment, HERING planned, manufactured, delivered, and installed three system roofs. Three Evolution-type platform roofs were installed at the Walldorf and Dornberg stops. The installation was completed in just 33 days, alongside numerous other works in the track and station areas. Despite tight timeframes and complex conditions, the project was executed precisely, efficiently, and without delays.
