Architect@Work 2016 – an interim report

After the successful premier of Hering Architectural Concrete at the Düsseldorf Architect@Work in December 2015, the HAC team was intent on participating in further editions of this series. This year, the professional trade show visitors from the areas of construction and building can receive more information from two German editions regarding facade systems made from architectural concrete.

On November 9–10, Architect@Work in Berlin launched the series. The HAC team was able to welcome many guests to its exhibition stand and held many constructive discussions during which the team informed the guests of the many design possibilities of betoShell®. Aside from the betoShell® exhibits, which showed a selection of surface treatment processes, illuminated elements made of optical fibre concrete were real eye-catchers, too. The composite material made of concrete and the fibres that can be illuminated are a development of the Berlin-based SIUT GmbH. It can be used both inside and outside.

For the next Architect@Work, which will be held on the Stuttgart trade fair grounds on December 7–8, 2016, interested parties can still apply on short notice. The HAC team is looking forward to numerous visitors such as in Berlin and is expecting a successful continuation of the trade fair.
