Rehabilitation of concrete façades

Methods of rehabilitation

Concrete façades

Using concrete façades to help upgrade and reshape energy management in existing buildings represents a method of rehabilitation that stands out for its uniqueness. It is, for example, possible to place a modern façade on its own foundation in front of an existing structure instead of demolishing the existing ensemble of old buildings. This approach preserves the grey energy bound in old buildings while creating a contemporary aesthetic and making it possible to seamlessly incorporate additional structures.

Old structures meets modern concrete façades

We use a heavy-duty adhesive anchoring system to securely connect the façades to the old buildings and ensure stable and lasting connections. Our project in Darmstadt shows how innovative rehabilitation methods make it possible to transform of old buildings through the installation of modern concrete façades.
