Hering Architectural Concrete with photovoltaic façades at the Climate Festival

Joining forces with the Institute of Architecture at the Hochschule für Technik Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig (HTWK – University of Applied Sciences), our HAC team presented proposed solutions for making the construction sector more sustainable at the Klimafestival (Climate Festival), which was held at the STATION Berlin on 23 and 24 November 2023. The focus was on SOLAR.con – our new product innovation, which is an exposed concrete façade with yield-optimized photovoltaic modules.

Preserving existing buildings, avoiding demolitions and conserving resources – these were the key messages at this year’s climate festival for the transition in the construction industry. Such speakers as Prof. Dr Werner Sobek, Dr Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, Dr Christine Lemaitre and Stefano Boeri called urgently for a change in the construction sector.

With more than 3,500 visitors attending the two-day festival, the event was a total success. Our exhibited products – SOLAR.con and recycled concrete – were very well received by the visitors to the trade fair. Many technical exchanges and new contacts turned the event into a great success
