Textile-reinforced concrete revolutionises the construction of façades

betoShell® architectural concrete façades employ a cement-bound composite with corrosion-free glass-fibre (GRP) or carbon-fibre plastic reinforcement that stands out for its low weight, thin panel thicknesses and the particularly environmentally friendly processes that are used to manufacture it. betoShell® textile-reinforced concrete constitutes a much more cost-effective solution than conventional reinforced concrete: Normal concrete coverage of 30 to 50 millimetres is no longer required, which means that it’s possible to realise element thicknesses of between just 20 and 40 millimetres!
