Systems for temporary use

HERING has developed the modula® temporary system for the temporary use of platforms. This is a platform made of hot-dip galvanised steel elements, founded on stackable prefabricated foundations, so that all boarding levels can be realised. The elements are available in various widths of 2.50m and 3.0m with a standard longitudinal grid of 5m (special dimensions on request). The system can be used with ease, even with tight radii - from R ≥ 300 m - and speeds of up to 200 km/h, and meets all the essential requirements that also apply to platforms designed as permanent structures.

The temporary platform

The temporary platform can be used as a makeshift platform during construction work, when dealing with accidents or as an additional temporary stopping point for trade fairs and other major events. In addition, existing platforms can be temporarily raised or extended.

HERING sustainability

At HERING, we see ourselves as pioneers in the field of sustainability. As early as 1996, we were the first construction company in Germany to obtain EMAS certification. Every three years, we publish an environmental statement documenting our goals and how we have achieved them. Actually, for the first time, we published a sustainability report with an integrated environmental statement in accordance with EMAS - a logical next step in view of our ecological and social responsibility. It documents how we deal internally and externally with the issues that are essential to our future viability.
