Gutach in Breisgau is a municipality in the Elztal valley in the district of Emmendingen, Baden-Württemberg. It is located at the boundaries between the Breisgau region and the Black Forest, around 20 kilometres north east of Freiburg in the Breisgau region. It was against this idyllic country backdrop that workers from HERING’s Systems Division were deployed in the last week of June.
One of HERING’s 140-metre-long external platforms and a prefabricated ramp were installed on behalf of DB Station&Service AG, Regionalbereich Südwest (South-west Regional Division, the principal) and Zürcher Bau GmbH (client). The installation work was carried out with a mobile crane.
