HERING once again ranked in the top 5% of all companies rated
The HERING Group has been having its sustainability monitored by the EcoVadis rating agency since 2018. The silver status achieved in 2018 almost immediately turned into gold in 2019 – a rating that we’ve been able to ‘sustain’ to this day. And we’ve even been able to improve on the results in the meantime: We achieved gold status with 66 from 100 points in 2022, but this figure increased to 71 points this year. That puts HERING well above the industry average and in the top 5% of all companies that the rating company looked at.
But EcoVadis raised the bar again last year: in 2022, companies were required to achieve 66 from 100 points to win gold. In 2023, however, the score required for that award went up significantly with gold now only being awarded from 70 points. The requirements increased in all four categories, which are
- Environment
- Labour and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
We’re delighted to have won gold again this year. The environmental category deserves special mention here because we scored 80% this time around. A very special success and confirmation that HERING’s sustainability strategy is moving in the right direction!
EcoVadis Scorecard:
